United citizens manage to implement actions that contribute to the creation of better living conditions in the field of ecology and environmental protection. Encouraged by the love for nature, but also by the revolt due to the lack of greenery in Belgrade, our fellow citizens organize tree planting more and more often. They were the inspiration for many to start planting, and they themselves planted in many Belgrade municipalities, including Sremska Mitrovica. Maple, linden, amber, pine, red-leaved oak, birch, red-leaved plum, conifers, fruit trees - over one thousand and three hundred seedlings ennobled Belgrade.

Trees do much more than beautify cities. It collects solar energy, produces oxygen, regulates humidity and temperature, filters air and water, but also provides a habitat for many animals.  "In addition to loving trees, which are necessary for us to live, as well as an aesthetic component in this city, we are also motivated by some anger at what has been happening lately. It is the systematic destruction of greenery on private plots and the construction of multi-story buildings.", emphasizes Tea Nikolić.

The forest sings it constantly reminds us with its action that we need green areas more than ever. Especially now, during the pandemic, because more and more often we choose parks or the nearby forest as a place to hang out. Tea, Radomir and Jelena from the organization, together with interested, ecologically conscious citizens, enrich and refresh the city with new seedlings every spring. They emphasize that they depend on donor, citizens and socially responsible companies. Fortunately, this creative team, in original ways, manages to secure money from interesting events, such as, for example, a support lunch.
