PDR FOR THE LINE PARK: REMARKS
The draft detailed regulation plan for the Linijski Park is currently under public inspection.
The draft plan of detailed regulation, called Linijski park, in addition to the park zone on the site of the existing railway, also brings the construction of over 200 m² of housing in the Dorćol marina, i.e. buildings with a height of about 000 floors on unsuitable land (comments 15 and 8); the possibility of commercial use of the Thermal Power Plant "Snaga i sveltst" (remark 6); expansion of fenced tennis courts; abolition of greenery prescribed by higher order plans (comment 2), conversion of public green areas into private zones (comment 7), and some other details.
We welcome the idea of creating participatory mechanisms and developing the green belt through these methods, however, we believe that it is malicious and manipulative to call plans parks if they also imply massive construction and usurpation of public areas.
You can download the comments we have prepared here and send it to the Secretariat for Urban Planning and Construction Affairs, on your behalf, by June 15, when public inspection lasts.
