FIRST NATIONAL FORUM OPENED - HORIZONS OF CHANGE!

On Monday, August 23, we opened the first National Forum at the Ecological Center Radulovacki in Sremski Karlovci, under the slogan "Horizons of Change".

Since we, as the Ministry of Space, but also as individuals, are part of many local struggles, we would like to offer this forum as a space where we will jointly strengthen alliances, create new ones and expand the ecosystem that is crucial for the systemic change that we desperately need.

Here are people who fight for the right to a home, the right to water, who stand in front of an excavator, who fight against corruption, for labor rights, equality, solidarity, and for years we have all tried together to protect public goods and defend the basic human right to a dignified life. Unfortunately, our everyday life is colored by injustices and humiliations, insecurity about basic existential issues, increasing inequality, xenophobia, destruction of the environment, corruption, meaningless education and diplomas, constant fires (both figurative and real), by eroding hard-fought social rights through the processes of privatization and deregulation. In these circumstances, apathy, lethargy and fear are not surprising. Precisely in order to overcome this, we must work together, we must close ranks, learn from each other and fight for change.

At the end of this school, we would like to come out with ideas on how new policies could look like, what is the political agenda that combines green and left positions, what are the main ideas, questions and challenges, what are the realistic scopes, and in what ways will we deal with them deal with
