LIVING THE CITY EXHIBITION
BERLIN-TEMPELHOF AIRPORT
The Ministry of Space is part of it Living the City, a large exhibition showing some of the most important associations, bureaus and individuals dealing with "the city, people and stories".
It is a great honor for us to be in the selection of inspiring and innovative works of colleagues from all over the world. The collective is presented through artefacts, video works, photographs and texts that follow our work from the foundation and first entry into INEX film, to the fight against the construction of Belgrade on the water, the foundation Street gallery and many other projects and actions. The exhibition was opened on September 25 in the main hall of the former Berlin-Tempelhof Airport. Cities are full of stories – simultaneous, contradictory and inextricably linked. Living the City tells more than fifty stories from architecture, art and urban planning in the main hall of the former Berlin-Tempelhof airport. The exhibition shows processes and opportunities for action in cities across Europe. Walking through the urban collage, visitors encounter a series of stories of people and projects that are actively involved in the city and civil society. These stories ask questions about basic activities such as loving, living, creating, participating, learning, playing, moving and dreaming in the city. These are stories that shape and transform, that make you feel and think.
