GUP BELGRADE 2041: REMARKS

An early public inspection of the General Urban Plan of Belgrade until 2041 is underway.

Three years after the Assembly of the City of Belgrade adopted the Decision on the creation of a new GUP of Belgrade until 2041, this umbrella, development and strategic document of the city came before the public. Considering the importance of this planning document, 31 expert organizations, civil and informal initiatives sent a request to the competent institutions, the Secretariat for Urbanism and Construction Affairs of the City Administration of the City of Belgrade and the Commission for Plans of the City of Belgrade Assembly, to organize public events, public presentations of the General of the urban plan of Belgrade 2041. Although we did not receive an answer to the request, the battle is not lost and we will not give up on the request that public presentations take place even after the early public inspection is completed.

The future development of the city concerns all of us, and that is why we invite you to send your remarks or ours that we have compiled, which you can download and send in your name, concluding with July 30, 6.

We have compiled 9 objections divided into several areas that are included in the GUP 2041 planning documentation. How to send a comment?

Although it seems that the city administration does not want us to participate, it is the right of all citizens, and we encourage you to read and download the objections that we have compiled and send them in your name by mail to the address:

You can also compose comments yourself. It can help you with that A small guide to city planning where you can find instructions and a form for writing remarks. We are available for all questions at kriznistab@ministarstvoprostora.org. Important: there is no criterion for the "expertise" of objections and the planning commission must consider each one as equally important because even when they are not "expert" and do not refer to laws, regulations, etc. they represent the attitude of citizens and are therefore valid and significant for urban planning. Therefore, do not hesitate to write honestly what you think in your own words.
